Cotebrook Cairn Gorm

The ideal gift for animal lovers!

Did You Know?

All the male Shire horses bred at Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre are named after Scottish mountains.

This is Brooms 4th foal in 4 years and she has produced an amazing foal each time.

Her first foal was Arkle, who we reluctantly sold as a fabulous 2-year-old colt to help us out financially due to Covid 19 lockdown when we had no income.

He was followed by 2 filly foals, Loch Awe and then Kelsie, a superb black filly that we look forward to showing in the future.

Cairn Gorm is the best foal bred at Cotebrook this year.  He is massive and hopefully will make a great stallion. We intend to show him later this year at one or both of the 2 big Shire Foal shows.

It will be interesting watching him develop and progress into a huge 18+hh stallion and be yet another Moorfield Edward grandson to further our amazing bloodline.

Cairn Gorm is the 6th highest mountain in the UK and is part of the famous Cairngorm range. The Gaelic name translates as The Blue Cairn.
