Cotebrook Lochan na h-Earba

The ideal gift for animal lovers!

Did You Know?

All the female Shire horses bred at Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre are named after Scottish Lochs.

This is Laggans sixth foal with Leonardo and they have all been fabulous quality and done well in the show ring.

All her foals have won Champion foal at every show they attended whilst young.

Her son born in 2020, Big Al (Cotebrook Alistairs  Whats  Wanted), was National Junior Champion at the National Shire Horse Championships in March 2023 and went on to be National Supreme Champion Gelding in 2024!  What an amazing feat!

Hopefully this foal will follow in her big brothers footsteps.

Earba (pronounces Erra-bah) was named by Karen Wickett in a Name our Foal competition. Lochan na h-Earba is in fact two lochs which were once joined together and lies parallel to Loch Laggan.

Earba means deer in gaelic and she certainly can leap about like a deer!

Her stable name is “Erra-bah”
