Cotebrook My Girl

The ideal gift for animal lovers!

Did You Know?

All the female Shire horses bred at Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre are named after Scottish Lochs.

This is Carron’s 13th foal, and it’s not unlucky for her, as she looks magnificent!

My Girl has a lovely bone structure like her mum and grandfather Moorfield Charles. Her markings are perfect, with the right amount of white on all four legs.

Carron makes a wonderful mother, doting on her baby, and it will be interesting to see how she develops.

My girl was born very late in the year, and as foals don’t eat any quantity of grass until they are 6 weeks old, this brings us towards the autumn by which time the grass stops growing.   As a consequence, she won’t be weaned until around Christmas and her mum not mated again until next year.

My Girl is named after The Temptations signature song.
