Things have been really busy on the farm.
We have had four safe foal arrivals including my wonderful daughter Ellhun.
We have started a Mum’s group, because let’s face it, parenting’s no walk in the paddock. We have stable chats over coffee (and the occasional carrot stick) having a good chinwag whilst the foals play.
Show season is on the way so that means Anna’s Show Preparation Classes have started up again. Why do I run the classes you ask? Well, I’m not sure If I mentioned this before but I was 2 time National Shire Horse Champion! It’s great to be able to pass on my know-how to those that are going to shows for the first time.
It’s Bin-go-ing mad here at the minute as we hosted our second bingo night. Did you know horses play bingo too? It’s pretty much the same, except instead of house, we shout “STABLE!”
Father’s Day is just around the corner, and we have already warned the postman to prepare for delivering Leonardo’s cards. With four new offspring this year and nine in total at the centre, it’s safe to say he will be spoiled.
