Kerrera

The ideal gift for animal lovers!

Did You Know?

All the female Shire horses bred at Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre are named after Scottish Lochs.

Alistair saw Kerrera as a two year old early in March 2018 on his way up to judging the Clydesdale National Championships. She lived near Penrith and he thought that she had good confirmation and asked the lady who owned her if she would be interested in selling her.
At the time she didn’t want to part with her.

A year later her previous owner had changed her mind and we managed to purchase her.

Kerrera is a very pretty mare with lovely limbs and feather, with a large foot.

Sadly she lost her foal in 2020 after a difficult birth but is now fully recovered and is back in foal to Leonardo again for May 2021.
