All the female Shire horses bred at Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre are named after Scottish Lochs.

Alistair thought Anna was his “Miss World” and the greatest Shire ever bred at Cotebrook. Her mother is his favourite mare, Loch Carron.
Anna is the biggest horse at Cotebrook and is an amazing mover with fabulous confirmation.

After starting her show career at just one year old, becoming the 2015 Junior Champion and Reserve Overall Champion at the Midland Shire Foal Show, Anna has gone on to be twice Supreme National Champion female and once Reserve Supreme National Champion at the National Shire Horse Show (the largest shire show in the world) She is also the three times Supreme Champion at Nantwich & South Cheshire Show in 2016, 2017 & 2018

Anna had her first foal in April 2020, a huge colt foal called Rob Roy MacGregor who is now a licensed stallion, and a lovely filly foal Carrianna in 2021. Platinum King was born during the Queens Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

This year she has had a fabulous quality colt we have called Black Cuillin who will make an amazing stallion.

Father of all four is Leverton Leonardo.

Anna is back in foal to Leonardo and is due 16th March 2025.

The famous Moorcroft Pottery Company from Stoke on Trent has produced 50 limited edition vases to commemorate 140 years of the Shire Horse Society and they have chosen Anna to be featured on these highly special collectors pieces.
