It was a great surprise when Angel had Broom as she was black in colour and there is no recent history of black horses in her parentage!

She gave birth to her first foal, Cotebrook Arkle, on 9th March 2018. He was also the first foal for his father Leverton Leonardo. What a great result! Arkle was Supreme Champion foal at Nantwich and South Cheshire Show, his first time in the showring.

Alistair is looking forward to him becoming a great Stallion for the future.

Broom had her second foal, Loch Awe, in March 2019 and like Arkle she is a big strong foal.

Broom is back in foal to Leonardo and is due the same day as Kererra in May 2020.
