Stay Safe On Your Visit
We want you to enjoy your visit here today but the following safety points must be observed.
- Do not feed ANY of the animals, or give the horses titbits or hand pulled grass. Offenders will be asked to leave the centre.
- Remember, ALL animals are capable of biting, don't put your fingers near their mouths.
- Stroke the horses on their necks, foreheads or between their eyes.
- When a horse comes close, watch it does not stand on you.
- Please treat all animals and birds with the greatest respect and caution, especially when approaching.
- Please explain to your children that running, screaming and shouting will upset the animals.
- Please don't cross any fences, they are there for safety of both animals and visitors.
- Please take care, especially in wet weather as surfaces can be uneven and slippery.
- Please remember to wash your hands at the toilets after handling the animals and BEFORE having anything to eat or drink.
- NO SMOKING on the farmyard or in the building.
- PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILDREN UNDER CLOSE SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES.
